Chad Montez, head coach at Waukesha West High School and chairman of the East All-Star team, has announced the fourth and final roster for this year's 40th WBCA All-Star Classic

These players were nominated by their coaches, who have to be members of the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association, to participate in the event to be held in Oshkosh on June 28th and 29th.

The six pitchers representing Team East are two players from the Southern Lakes Conference, Union Groves Bobby Barrera and Lake Geneva Badger's Sam Polyock.  Last year's Division I Player of the Year, Oak Creek's Payten Jibben, will gain a start for the East and represents the Southeast Conference.  The Greater Metro's Ben Moser, from Sussex Hamilton, the Classic Eight's AJ Curtis from Waukesha North, and the Metro Classic's Sam Mommer from Saint Thomas More round out the squad.  Mommer is the only player from a DII school, whereas the other five pitch for Division I squads.

Oak Creek's Nathan Hanel and Gavin Schieffer, from the top ranked team in Division III, Lake Country Lutheran, are the East's two catchers.

Three of the team's six infielders hail from the North Shore Conference: Cedarburg's Sam Moses, Nicolet's Nolan Sandee, and West Bend East's Mason Roell.  Oak Creek's CJ Trask is the third Knight on the team.  The Classic Eight lands a 2nd player on the squad in Kettle Moraine's JJ Wolbert.  The only DII school represented in the infield is Jefferson's Aidan Kammer, who represents the Rock Valley.

The North Shore's fourth player on the squad is outfielder Jackson Brewer from Mequon Homestead.  The Classic Eight's third representative is Issei Takahasi from Hartland Arrowhead.  The squad is rounded out with two Union Grove players in Marshall Loch and Landon Dessart.

The squad will be coached by Homestead's Jason Kosanke, Waukesha North's Don Radomski, and Saint Thomas More's Tim Schultz.

Join the WBCA as we showcase 72 outstanding seniors from the four regions of the state, on the campus of Oshkosh North, on June 28th and 29th, to watch some outstanding baseball!
