Carthage College baseball is offering weekend hitting instruction for 10 weeks throughout the winter for both high school and youth level players. You can choose to attend Saturdays, Sundays, or both. Our
camps include instruction from the Carthage baseball coaching staff and current players. We will feature various hitting drills and programs designed to improve each player’s swing, increase bat speed, and
enhance overall knowledge as a hitter. Each session will conclude with an intense workout circuit and be limited to 20 campers. If each session fills, then an 8:00 a.m. group may be added. Click the pdf file below for more details and sign up information.
Lawrence University is proud to announce its new baseball camp website. www.lawrencebaseballcamps.com. Headed by new head coach Chris Krepline, Lawrence Baseball is dedicated to providing the most quality instruction and collegiate experience in the area. We have a passion for working with young ball players of all ages, developing their skills, and introducing them to our way of baseball. Our hope is that each player who attends our camps, clinics, seminars, or a Viking baseball game will develop that same passion for the game that we share.
UW-Milwaukee: I wanted to reach out again and bring your attention to an opportunity for your players to compete and showcase their skills on Saturday October 27 at Henry Aaron Field here in Milwaukee. We will be holding our October Showcase Camp and are looking for players that could potentially complete our 2019 recruiting class (as well as get a solid start on the 2020 and 2021 classes with identification). From our September camp, we have set up 4 visits and have multiple scholarship offers out to players who showed well and we felt would be a fit both on and off the field. If you feel you have any athlete(s) that could be a solid fit for the only Division I program in the state and an urban (yet secluded from the big city) University, please forward these details and/or website to them and we would love to have them attend. This camp is open to all players in the 2019-2022 classes.
We also know many players play football, soccer, etc. and have had instances in the past where they have registered and due to circumstances (injury, team engagement, etc.) they have had to cancel. We always honor these as we love the multi-sport athlete and believe in the value of these sports.
If you have any questions or would like to connect on anything, don’t ever hesitate to reach out to me. I love talking the game! Thanks.
