Concludes with Hall of Fame Inductions

Over 550 coaches, 40 vendors, and other guests joined us this weekend in Madison for the WBCA's 52nd Annual Clinic and Convention.  Nationally recognized speakers spoke during over a dozen sessions while coaches were able to get together with their coaching brothers in the fraternity and kick off the season, tell old stories, and renew old acquaintances.

Many of our speakers mentioned that attendance at other clinics around the country has dipped to all time lows...Illinois had just 75 attendees at theirs, for example, while Colorado drew just 125.  The strength of our Association remains in the dedication of all of our coaches recognizing the need to get together, become more educated at what we do, and celebrate those ties that bind us together.  This weekend was a great example of that.

This site will be updated every few days with updated award winners, coaching records, and soon to come, our preseason rankings, which are published along with almost everything about Wisconsin baseball in Baseball Wisconsin, the 32nd Annual Edition. Those that ordered online will start shipping from rural Prairie Farm this week.

So please stay tuned. Featured on today's photo are four of our five Hall of Fame Inductees.  Brookfield Central's Jeff Bugler was unable to attend, but attending were Wisconsin Rapids' Bob Gawlitta, Steven Point Pacelli's Wayne Sankey, Green Lake's Tim Poock, and Jefferson's Greg Fetherston.  Congratulations to them an other award winners that will be posted and are listed in Baseball Wisconsin!
