Inducted at ABCA National Convention in Dallas

UW-Whitewater’s John Vodenlich has received the highest honor a collegiate coach can attain when he was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Hall of Fame during the national convention in Dallas on January 5th.

Vodenlich has been the head coach at Whitewater since 2004.  Before that, he assisted his mentor, the late great Jim Miller from 1994-1997 and 2000-2003, and was head coach at Edgewood College from 1998-1999.  His career record in 22 seasons as a head coach is 712-257 (.713).  He led the Warhawks to the NCAA National Championship in 2005 and 2014.  His teams have qualified for the NCAA DIII Tournament 16 times and have advanced to the College World Series six times.

Vo is a great friend and contributor the WBCA, often speaking at our State Clinic and making several stops at other locations throughout the state over the past two decades.

He becomes the 6th Wisconsinite to be inducted.
