All of us in the baseball coaches fraternity offer our condolences to the family of Jack Brooks, Rosholt's baseball coach for the past 37 years.  A 2013 inductee into the WBCA Hall of Fame, Brooks had a career record of 567-169 (.770).  He passed Ron Kading this year to become 6th all time in career victories among spring coaches.  His teams won several conference championships,  and have gone to the State Tournament in 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2021.  They were State Runner-up in 2008 in 2021.

Brooks annually attended the State clinic where he made numerous friends amongst the coaching fraternity.  He coached in the All-Star Classic last summer, which he stated was one of the highlights of his coaching career, as he was able to coach in it with his son Brett, who is the head coach at conference rival Wild Rose.

He will be missed but never forgotten, not only in Rosholt, but by many of us who were fortunate enough to meet him.
