The Line-up

Dan Hartleb- He just completed his 10th season as Head coach at Illinois and 25th season on the Illini coaching staff. Hartleb ranks among the winningest coaches in school history, as he is currently third with 326 career victories. He has won a pair of Big Ten titles (2011, 2015) and owns a conference record of 151-108.

Hartleb took Illinois to its first-ever Super Regional in 2015 and has taken UI to an NCAA Regional in three of the past five years (2011, 2013, 2015). For the teams performance last year, he was named the Big Ten Coach of the Year, ABCA Mideast Region Coach of the Year and a National Coach of the Year finalist. 

Scott Doffek- the 2013 Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association College Coach of the Year and two-time Horizon League Coach of the Year, enters his 10th year as the Head coach of the UW-Milwaukee Panthers in 2016. A mainstay in the UWM baseball program, Doffek enters his 22nd season with the Milwaukee coaching staff after spending the first 12 of those years as the assistant head coach.
 
The program enjoyed a record-breaking season in 2015, tying the school record along the way with an impressive total of 39 victories. Last year ended ended just one win shy of a trip to the NCAA Tournament, falling in the Horizon League Tournament Championship
.

Rich Maloney- Now at Ball State, last year he guided the Cardinals to a 33-25 overall record and 14-13 Mid-American Conference mark, taking Ball State to the 2015 MAC Tournament Championship game.  A Third-team All-American as a senior shortstop at Western Michigan, Maloney was a 13th-round draft pick of the Atlanta Braves in 1986. He would go into coaching and served as the Head baseball coach at Michigan for 10 seasons, guiding the Wolverines to a 341-244 (.583) overall record … led Michigan to three Big Ten Conference titles, two Big Ten Tournament titles and the 2007 NCAA Regional title.

Spencer Allen- The newly named Head Coach at Northwestern, he is considered one of the very best recruiters and teachers of the game nationwide. Allen last served as an assistant coach at Illinois, where last year he helped Coach Hartleb and the Fighting Illini set the school record with 50 wins and win the first NCAA Regional in program history. Illinois won its 30th Big Ten championship this spring. Prior to his stint with Illinois, Allen served a two-year stretch as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Creighton. The Bluejays won 62 games in 2013-14 and the BIG EAST regular-season championship during its first season in the league in 2014.

Allen also worked as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Washington State University and spent time on staff with another Big Ten program, Purdue. Allen was the recruiting coordinator for the Boilermakers during the 2008-09 campaigns. Additionally, he has worked as a scout in the Detroit Tigers organization

Darin Everson-A member of the Colorado Rockies staff since 2013, last year he served as the Rockies Manager of their AA New Britain Rockcats team. Last year was Everson's sixth season as manager in professional baseball. Previously he managed in the Florida Marlins organization (2007-2009) and was a skipper in the Independent Frontier League in 2010 and 2011. 

Everson played at Mayville State University, where he was an NAIA All-American in 1992 and 1993. He signed out of college with the Montreal Expos. 

Everson is currently the owner and director of Elite Baseball Academy in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He will return to the Rockies this spring as an AA manager or the AAA hitting coach.

Georgia High School Coaches Tony Kirkland and Chan Brown- Two of Georgia’s top coaches, Kirkland’s distinguished career started as an Assistant Coach on two State Championship teams and has carried into the Head Coaching ranks where he received numerous honors. A multiple State Regional Coach of the Year, Tony is now with the Colquitt County Packers.

Brown’s Parkview Panther’s team, meanwhile, just won their third state title in the past five seasons. His team finished 34-2 and won its final 26 games. He has been a coach at Parkview for 12 years, including the past 11 as a head coach with an overall record of 326-121. The team saying was, “Be Special” and they certainly were that. He is the 2015 National High School Baseball Coach of the Year, the USA Today High School Coach of the Year, and BCA National Coach of the Year.

Kyle LeMieux- Now in his 4th year as Associate Principal /Athletic Director at Waukesha West, LeMieux is the former Head Baseball Coach at Waukesha North and an assistant at Mukwonago. The mission of the Waukesha West Athletic Department under his leadership is “Transforming Aspiring Adults Through Athletics.” His programs have operated at a high level while developing young men of character.

Marty Paulsen and Mark Fuller- Two long-time Wisconsin Baseball Coaches, the two have spoke on their experiences in baseball in ten different states, three different countries, and five National Clinics.
