do stories get linked on Baseball Wisconsin?
I go to the state's major newspapers, looking for "geographical balance" across the state as I search for stories. Some papers have better web sites than others.
The site won't necessarily be updated every day. My internet has gone down, we go on trips, I get involved with coaching, my teaching load gets way behind, I'm spending time with my kids, or there weren't any stories that day (especially applies in winter)... if the site didn't get updated (or only partially updated) for that particular day, the reason can be found above!
Why did I start doing this? To publicize the game we love and the kids/men who play it. I look for stories that have anything to do with Wisconsin High School, collegiate, Minor League, or Major League baseball.
I will accept stories that highlight an individual or team accomplishment--a "special interest" story--from minor papers if you submit the URL to me. I simply don't have time to cover the hundreds of small local papers through out Wisconsin.
