Kenosha: The annual Andy Smith Memorial Classic June 27-29 will be held at Nash Complex in Kenosha. The tournament is hosted by American Legion Post 21 and the Kenosha Merchants Baseball Club. Field will consist of 8-10 teams split into two pools. Round-robin in pool play. Pool winners play for overall championship. Four game guarantee, possible five. Entry fee is $475 plus 1 dozen baseballs. Tournament is named in honor of Andy Smith, a member of the WBCA Hall of Fame who won WIAA state championships with Kenosha Bradford in 1963 and Kenosha Tremper in 1964 and won American Legion state championships in 1963 and 1964. The 2014 Kenosha Merchants/Carthage College Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held , 22 and 23 on the campus of Carthage College in Kenosha in the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center.
