Speaking Line-up:

Mr. Bill Smith-         General Manager of the Minnesota Twins -- Bill became the assistant GM of the Twins in 1994 and assumed the position of the 5th GM in Twins history in 2007. His outstanding job at that position has kept the Twins among the best-run franchises in the Major Leagues. He will receive a Distinguished service Award from the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches for his outstanding contributions in 2010.

Tim Tschida- Major League Umpire -- One of the best at his job in the Major Leagues, Tim’s highlights include working three World Series and being behind the plate for Nolan Ryan’s 7th no-hitter. He has also worked two All-Star games. He was recognized three year’s ago as Wisconsin’s “Baseball Man of the Year” and is a great ambassador of the game in our part of the state.

Tom O’Connell -- Wisconsin Hall of Fame Coach and the only High School coach to serve as President of the ABCA. Tom was this year’s ABCA “National Coach of the Year.” His Burlington Catholic teams have won four Wisconsin State Championships.

Marty Paulsen--Fond du Lac Goodrich -- With a career record, which includes over 500 wins, “Lou” is a State Treasure and one on the winningest coaches in State history. He has spoken at clinics across the nation. His Cardinals won the 2001 State Championship.

Stein Rear -- The new Head Coach at Northland College in Ashland, Rear comes to Northland after serving as a successful High school Coach and an assistant at UW-Whitewater, a power in the WIAC conference..

John Sopiwnik -- Pitching Coach at Northland -- John is a former Cumberland Beaver and member of their Hall of Fame. An Third Team All-State pitcher his senior year in high school, Sopiwnik also had a successful pitching career at St. Olaf.

Eddy Morgan -- The Head Coach at UW-Superior, Morgan has improved the program in each of his four years. A fine player himself at St. Scholastica, Morgan has brought a new enthusiasm to Superior baseball.
