We play tournaments every weekend but are also looking to play midweek games against any opponents who would be willing to play us. We have 2 fields with lights and are looking to play games mostly Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays. We are also willing to travel as well to another opponents park and do a home and away if wanted. Sun Prairie Legion Post 333 will host the 1st Annual Josh Scott Memorial Senior (Varsity) Legion Baseball Tournament on July 14th and July15th 2012. This is an eight team tournament which will be held at Summit Field in Sun Prairie. Trophies for the tournament champion, 2nd place 3rd place and consolation champion. Individual medallions will be presented to players selected to the all tournament team. Tournament entry fee is $300.00. Baseballs will be supplied. American Legion rules. The annual Andy Smith Memorial Classic June 22-24 will be held at Nash Complex in Kenosha. The tournament is hosted by American Legion Post 21 and the Kenosha Merchants Baseball Club. Field will consist of 12 teams split into two six-team pools. Round-robin in pool play. Pool winners play for overall championship. Five-game guarantee, possible six. Entry fee is $500. Confirmed teams thus far are: Sun Prairie, Mundelein (Ill.), Grayslake (Ill.), Janesville, 2009 and 2010 state champion Wausau and Madison, along with the host Kenosha Merchants.
Tournament is named in honor of Andy Smith, a member of the WBCA Hall of Fame who won WIAA state championships with Kenosha Bradford in 1963 and Kenosha Tremper in 1964 and won American Legion state championships in 1963 and 1964. The Phillips Lugnuts Baseball club will be hosting its fourth annual 15U baseball tournament on July 13-15. All games on Friday will be played later in the day, under the lights. 18th Annual Horlick Wiffle Ball Tournament
The 18th Annual Horlick Indoor Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held at Horlick High School on March 16-18th this year. Age groups will be separated into U9/10, U11/12, and U13/14. Players age determined by May 1st 2012. Teams will be guaranteed 3 games in the tournament with a $100 entry fee per team. Individual trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place finishers. First eight teams to get their entry fee/form submitted will fill the brackets. 4TH ANNUAL CARTHAGE/KENOSHA MERCHANTS WIFFLE BALL TOURNAMENT
The 4th annual Carthage College/Kenosha Merchants Indoor Wiffle Ball tournament will be held February 17-19 at the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center on the Carthage College campus. The tournament benefits both Carthage baseball and the Merchants’ 19U American Legion team. The tournament is comprised of three age groups: 9U and 10U, 11U and 12U and 13U and 14U. Age is determined as of May 1, 2012. Each age group is limited to eight teams. If there are enough teams, the combined age groups will be separated. Each group will be divided into two pools with each team playing the others in its pool once. The pool winners will meet on the final day to determine the age group champion. Full concessions will be provided to teams and fans. Team and individual trophies will be provided to the bracket champions.
Entry fee is $100 with a three-game guarantee. First teams to submit their entry forms along with entry fee will be accepted.
